Members help the twinning to flourish by getting involved, assisting in events, and hosting visitors from Rinteln. In order to take part in trips organised by the Association participants must be paid up members, whether individually or through corporate membership.
Individual Membership :
This is for any individual who wishes to become involved with the twinning. Annual rates are currently £5 (Unwaged - in receipt of Benefits (not State Pension)); £10 (Waged) .
Corporate Membership :
This type of membership is for clubs and associations. Any individuals who are members of an affiliated club or association are automatically included in the membership and can take advantage of what can be offered. Corporate Membership is currently £25 a year.
What are the advantages of membership?
Corporate members can be assisted in many ways, including arranging contacts with their counterparts in Rinteln, helping to find accommodation for visiting guests, and advice on travelling and accommodation.
The Association can also provide some financial assistance for visits to Rinteln where the party includes Juniors (i.e. under 18, in full time education).
Individuals who are not members of an affiliated club or association may find that membership is a good way to get to know similar people in Rinteln. The Association organises trips for groups of individuals from time to time. Many existing members started lasting friendships by coming on one of these trips, and continue to "exchange" on a personal level.
