Rinteln Autumn Fair
Description
Rinteln on the Weser will be busy again. The traditional autumn fair promises four days of fun, excitement and entertainment in the middle of the historic old town.
This well-known hustle and bustle was carried out for the first time 633 years ago, when Count Otto I of Holstein and Schaumburg gave the citizens of Rinteln the privilege of holding two free church masses a year on the day of St. Mary Magdalene. This is still the case today.
